Why Your Support Matters

The kitchen is more than a room — it’s a place where hopeful hands come together. It’s where hands gather to cook, to clean, to hold one another through hard times, and to celebrate milestones and graduations.
For someone who didn’t have a kitchen last year, receiving one now is not just a gift — it’s a restoration of dignity, stability, and the human touch of hope.
YOU are investing in a sense of belonging, safety, and hope.

About the Campaign
At Northern Nevada HOPES, we believe that housing is health and food is medicine. That’s why we created Hope Springs, a transitional housing community designed to help individuals experiencing homelessness find stability, healing, and a path forward.
Hope Springs is more than a place to stay. It’s a safe, supportive environment where residents live in private tiny homes and participate in a program that includes medical and behavioral health care, addiction treatment, life skills training, and peer support. It’s a place where people can rebuild their lives with dignity.
This Giving Tuesday you can help restore hope, and thanks to a generous $20,000 matching gift from Cindy L. Carano and Phil and Kristy Zive, your impact will be doubled.
Your gift will help us renovate and replenish the kitchen. You’re not just replacing cracked countertops, worn cabinets or stocking shelves with cookware. You’re giving each resident a personalized kitchen basket of utensils and storage containers. You’re helping someone feel at home, perhaps for the first time in a long time.
Please consider giving a much as you can. Every dollar you give is matched ensuring your generosity goes twice as far.
You can be the hands that make Hope Springs more than a transitional housing program, it can be a place where community is built and futures are rewritten.
